Sizing Recommendation

To figure out how many PuraShield devices you’ll need for your application, you’ll first need to calculate three numbers:
  1. Air Changes Per Hour (ACH) — the number of times you would like the air in a space to be filtered every hour; this number varies depending on the application. For most rooms, a minimum of 4 ACH is recommended.                                                                                                                        
  2. Cubic Feet — the volume of the room that you would like to filter air in; alternatively, you may calculate the square footage of your room and multiply that by 8 feet.                                                                                                           
  3. Cubic Feet per Minute (CFM) — the amount of air that that needs to be filtered every minute to achieve your chosen ACH. This number will help you decide how many PuraShield 500s or 1000s you will need for your application.
